SUSTAINABILITY & TEXTILES
FALL 2018 - COMMUNITY TEXTILES CLASS PROJECT
I took a course during fall 2018 on natural fabrication processes. For the final project, my class collaborated together on designing and producing a product using the techniques learned. The final products would be sold in the Union Square Greenmarket during the winter break. My design, which is a cord holder made out of scrap muslin either surface designed with natural dye paints or indigo dye and sewn by fashion majors such as myself, was chosen to be produced. This is the final design with packaging made by my graphic design/illustration major peers in the class.
